I support this petition. Personally I think the radio, etc, boycotting Kirk simply shows the stupidity of the person doing the boycotting!! Who died and put them in charge????

I cannot believe that someone that has supported the "legends" and made their income off of them, could possibly be serious in wanting mandatory retirement. Upon listening to the Opry tonight - sure would have been slim pickens if the Legends had stayed home. Lets tell the entire reason for Jeanne Pruett stepping down - I do believe there is more to that than what you have indicated. Hope you were listening tonight when "Whispering" Bill did "The Deck of Cards" and received such a loud acceptance - guess the audience didn't realize he was over 65!!!! We better get together and let Mr. Rice know that he needs to reread the quote he quoted by Garth at the beginning of his "thoughts" and decide which one he falls in!!!!!!

I support this 100%, we are losing way too many of our country music supporters. Have to try to convine the powers-that-be that we REALLY do support it - it will take alot of work - but we can do it-TOGETHER.
