What kind of a society are we that we fail to protect our children? Children's lives are ruined and we are more concerned about the criminals' rights than the victims'. One offender can ruin soooo many lives and yet they are still on the streets. What is wrong with governments that allow this to happen? What kind of future are we headed towards if this continues? It needs to STOP NOW! Every child deserves to be protected and that will never happen if there aren't stiffer sentences. Children..there is NOTHING more important. It is sickening to think that more isn't being done to protect each and everyone of them.
