hmmmm from a psycological stand point it would seem that your anger towards goths has a lot to do with the death of your mother. you mention your mother many times in your statement. i think this really means that you envy people for being able to express emotion of sadness thet you deny your self. and that you feel that you "have it the worst" due to your mothers death even if you don't allow your self to openly express it; you are expressing it by saying others have no right to be sad if your arnt. Then you choose a picticular group to vent your anger on. In this case goths, as in part that they are protrayed as being sad all the time, and also express emotion with out a care of what people think. Now "that" is Freudian psycology at it's best. Next time you are angry at others think of the personal reasons why and look at your self first.

goth isn't a person dressed it black. and there are so many poseurs out there it makes me sick.... simply put a TRUE goth is just a highly creative person.

Who cares if people are afraid to go into the shop, that just means it's not their thing. The store displays what the consumer of that store likes. And mostly it's goths who shop there. If it was "happy looking" on the out side but the products on the inside are still "scary" it defeats the point of the out ward appearance of the store. Ex: if a person who is araciphobic went into store that looked like a pet store from the out side, but on the inside all they sold were spiders. Then it's the same thing. The outward appearance of the store must match the contents it sells.

I'll assume that is a school uniform. There are ways to get around that depending on the regulations of your school. It's all in the creative part of being a Goth my dear. You may be stuck in that uniform but you can always work with other things. Does your school allow.... crazy hair styles: A mohawk or bright colored hair is out of place in most uniformed schools, so instead rely on good old black (if you like it that is). See if you can get away with creepy headbands with skulls or white roses on them. With Short hair try little things like spiking your bangs into curved points on your forehead, with long hair, try spiky buns, pigtails, messed up hair like Robert Smith or Edward Scissorhands. Tie things in your hair like ribbon that can be any color and hang down your hair. Make up: Pure and simple, if they allow one color they should allow them all, electric blue (to match the ribbon in your hair perhaps), purple, crimson red, and of course black. Most don't like b...

I support this petition. Schools should be alowd to favor some styles and not others. I say as long as it's not slutty and showing off things better left unsean at school *glares at the preps in the short skirts* then it shouldn't matter what color you wear. If the other girls can wear cake face whorish make up if they like, i should be able to wear black lipstick. If other people can wear crosses (i wear them too) then i should be able to wear penticals. If any color of nail polish or eye contacts are allowed then all them shem should be!

I support this petition. I agree with you Caden Adkins, how ever it's just part of being who we are, i have come to accept that people are ignorant and like to stay that way. I don't let the oppinions of idiots affect me, and no other goth should either.

Hun Labels are every where, we can accept that everything has a name or we can ball our eyes out to no end. I personaly choose to accept reality.
