In the west we have a little thing called satire, for the past 300 years political and religious figures, kings and quueens, celebrities and social figures have all been targeted by satire. For as long as satire has existed no individual or group or religious or political body has overreacted in the pitiful and heavyhanded way muslimms did. I have seen anti semetic and holocaust denying cartoons in Arab newspapers for years, even after the so called offensive cartoons of Muhhamud. These cartoons in Arab newspapers are horrific and serve no purpose other than an incitment of ratial hate and violence! There is nothing any muslim can say to defend these cartoons that are printed on a regular basis all over the middle east. They reduce your argument that you are offended to nothing, they reduce your claim that Muslims are civilised to nothing as do your reactions to the Muhhhamud cartoon.
