This might be an old petition but whatever, I do support Simple Plan in the messages they are sending out to younger generations. But I do feel that they are hypocrites in what they say and do. I mean all there songs deal with the same issues, over and over. Heck though, If I could get on stage and cry my eyes out and make millions of dollars I seriously would. So I am not sure if they are brilliant or incredibly fake and foolish. P.s. What does being Canadian have to do with anything?

I think that its hilarious that some of these fans actually think they’re hardcore because they listen to bands like Good Charlotte and Simple Plan. I’m not putting down the bands or the talent of any of the members but come on, Good Charlotte is not punk rock. Good Charlotte and punk rock do not belong in the same sentence. Really Good Charlotte and rock do not belong in the same sentence. I am not sure what they are but goodness they’re anything but hardcore. And those fans, you know the ones who go to their concerts with their faces painted like their going to a hockey game, should be clued in on what is what, on what is punk and what defiantly is not.
