Most adults do not bring home work from their jobs. It is unnecessary to bring work home from school. It is bad enough that as an adult, we are entitled to breaks by federal law, yet this is not afforded to our school children. If lessons cannot be taught in the 6-8 hours children are in school, homework isn't going to teach it. Let children have a life. I am an adult that fully supports this petition of students across America, not just in New Jersey.

As an older adult, I have seen both sides of this issue. I have also seen the changing times, whereby children of this age are no longer allowed to express themselves. Along with the medications being forced into these children, the uniforms are right behind taking away creativity and independence. If they do not learn now that there are people who have and people who don't in the world, when do these schools want them to learn it? When they are thrown out in society after high school being ill prepared? You can make them wear uniforms, but it doesn't change who drives what to school, who has a better hair cut, more expensive shoes, better jewelry, etc. Stop repressing the minds of the young. It is PUBLIC school.

Absolutely not. They should have free sex education that educates on the technical/anatomy issues and teaches abstinence.

I support TOTAL informed consent on EVERY drug, immunization and procedure that a body (human and animal alike) will be putting into their bodies, including ingredients, side-effects and the REAL statistics of the failure of the above. Benefits do not always outweigh the risks and too many people and animals are being harmed for the greed of the pharmeceutical companies and the government who pushes these and collects the taxes.
