I WILL NOT SUPPORT THIS PETITION. I am NOT from a broken home, my parents are teachers, my Mum identified the behaviours in me when she was studying at uni to be a teacher. I HAVE ADHD. I have an IQ around 128. I am not dumb, but it is VERY HARD to consistantly achieve my potential because ADHD interferes with the ability to absorb information and process it. ADHD is recognised as a Neurobiological Dysfunction. I have participated in research showing a remarkable difference in brain patterning and neurological responses between people with ADHD and people without. Behaviour from my personal experience is more of a side effect than a definition. Helen Keller showed ADHD like behaviour because she couldn't hear or see. Therefore she could not receive the information to process. ADHD is a blindness and a deafness in the BRAIN. What is the use of seeing and hearing when that which you see and hear has nowhere to go?
