Ive been through the system myself. From the age 2-12 I was considered a ward of the court. Within this period of time I was placed in over 14 different foster homes. I was adopted at the age 5 but the "Dennis'" seperated a year later,then gave me back. I still carry their name even though I do not remember their faces. Now 33 I have kids of my own but since I took off when I was 13 for being mistreated, I accumilated a criminal record for providing the basic nesessities to live. Now the society is saying that, "Because I have a record" they are refusing to return my 3 yr old son into my custody. He was apprehendid because I was incarcerated for a domestic issue with my oldest sons mother. Which I should NOT have been incarcerated for due to the minor severety of the situation.I am NOT a violent person. She has a very irratic personality and struggles with a drug dependancy.
