I agree 100% about the whole tipping concept. 10% is crap; if I can't tip well or semi-decent, I don't go out. Now, i ask all of you shooting down RR. What culinary background do you possess? People like YOU give chefs a bad name. Chefs are supposed to be open-minded and willing to absorb information from other cooks\chefs; not sit there and put down someone who has the guts to go for it and put everything on the line. Ignorant people such as yourselves need to sit back and realize that recipes that are presented in such a "grotesquely easy" manner as someone so eloquently put it, that sometimes simplicity is the key. I have been a professional chef for 15 years WITH culinary schooling. Recipes are merely a guideline. Think OUTSIDE the box. For those of you who think RR is a horrible cook and you can do better; I challenge you. Get off your ass and do it. Maybe you could learn a thing or two about being open to her techniques and not a narrow-minded jackass.
