the simpsons has been going down hill for some years now, untill it has got to the point where I will not watch it if they are showing a new episoide, only the reruns of a better time, when the show was funnier, smarter and, well, better. I guess it's still better than reality tv (as one person here pointed out), which I detest, but really, come on folks, let's just cancel it already, while there's still a chance of having it go out with (in some people's view) some dignity. If it's left to Fox, we know they'll just run it into the ground untill it is completely dead and only hatefully remembered. Please, it's painful to see a once great show end up like this, just cancel it already!
