The fact is that the people of New Orleans acted in a completely unacceptable way. They begged for help, and then shot at the helicopters trying to rescue people and drop supplies. It IS YOUR OWN FAULT if you live in a city 12 feet under sea level and you don't evacuate when a category 4 hurrican is coming at your ass. There are so many cities across the country that have lended a helping hand and most of them have been ****ed by the evacuees. The simple fact that there were murders and rapes in the only place in New Orleans that was "safe" speaks about the character of the people involved.
