This act will only further the acquisition and prevalence of weapon ownership by non-law abiding citizens. Any person who would tolerate this process is currently a conscientous firearm owner, completely capable of utilizing and securing from children and inexperienced persons. If reducing firearm crimes is the goal, then reducing firearm criminals should be the focus. I fully support this petition.
