there are many flaws in our governance/education: elitism, negligence of non-academic areas and the policies revolve money. people r programmed to be robots of Singapore Inc(quoting alvin tan) hell-bent on churning as much money as possible. emotions are to be oblierated unless it helps you to make money(although they'll never admit this); if bonding the familiy boosts ur morale to work, promote it. shove off problems like discrimination against the mentally ill, until ex-depression patients can't get a job = decrease in unemployment = low GDP. they like to "promote the local arts scene to encourage creativity" and blah. but it's the money they're after; i'm sincerely interested in arts n music and im disgusted.
