All excellent points Emily. Here's another... Do you pay for your clothes Alisha? I didn't think so. By having school uniforms your parents are saving a lot of money. Generally school uniforms are sturdy and last a whole year. Your casual clothes are probably more expensive, less sturdy, and you will want to change them regularly to keep up with trends (and to out do each other) and because you are wearing them all day, everyday they will wear out a lot faster. The bottom line is that your parents have to fork out more money to buy you more clothes. Think about it Alisha. The fact that you obviously haven't thought this through at all just proves that you need to pay more attention to the important things at school (like LEARNING) and less about the fact that you don't like your uniform.
