Um, anyone here have any vestiges of sanity at all? Harry Potter et al. are not your personal property. A lot of the stuff here is libellious and defamatory towards Ms Watson, and as such is actionable under the law. The internet isn't as anonymous as you think. And I don't think she got the part by sleeping with the director as some utterly asinine person suggested. Emma's portrayal/interpretation of the character of Hermione is exactly that, and the influences on the portrayal are far beyond Ms. Watson. The director, producers, screenwriters, script editors etc would have had far more of an impact. Hermione is a fictional character in fictional books and films, and is therfore invulnerable to hurt. Ms Watson is not. How would you like someone starting up a hate petition about you? Not isn't about time you all grew up a bit?
