I support this petition. completely. I think it is completely ubsurd that this feature was taken away! Especially without a vote or anything. Twitter started out fun, but no its turning into another stupid website like myspace that is going to be replaced soon with something else. You need to understand that without us, your website has nothing, so let us decide what we want or be prepared to get replaced.
