I support this petition. My last pit was I fear stolen for fighting. Had it not been for this pit my elderly neighbor and her three grandsons would have burned to death in a house fire. But because Mia was allowed to be in both of our yards through a connecting gate in the back yard Mia got our attention that something was wrong. Luckily the house was not a complete loss and all got out in time. The local newspaper was going to do a story about her until they found out she was a pit. no one wants to hear the good about the pit breeds. I now have another pit. She has protected me from burglars while my husband was gone on a out of town job. I love all breeds of dogs but my heart is with the pit. Also to the people making the beastiality remarks about the dogs GROW THE HELL UP!
