A great book to read at this time is \"The Fourth Turning\", What the Cycles of History Tell us About America\'s Next Rendezvous with Destiny -- by Strauss and Howe. Green shoots will probably wither soon, the next downturn will be ugly. This book, written in the late 90s, is amazingly prescient. If only I had read it before last summers meltdown!
