by lowering the voting age to 16, we will be making sure that political involvement starts early. some of the advocates of the lower voting age say that 16+17 year olds arn't mature enough, however, i have been more involved in the political process this year then most "mature" adults and by denying myself the right to vote, i am forced to live in a country where i have no political influence and where i still have to live with the concequences. we truly are the un-represenated minority
