Life as We Know It is a good show that has already proven its ability to face real issues. However, trying to save it by placing it against the OC(the biggest show on television, which shows how shallow young viewers can sometimes be)was not a good idea for an already struggling new show. The show opened up with sex, but to me, that has become the least interesting issue on the show. Teenagers, despite popular belief, have much more serious issues than sex, though it is inevitably there. The show is intriguing b/c the more normal the teenagers attempt to be normal and immature teenaged boys, the more life gets in the way. its inspiring to see how they deal with it, especially for a girl who sometimes wants to get in the head of guys. It doesn't sugarcoat and though the characters are likeable, they are also real.
