I support the fight against pro-ana, as i struggle with an eating disorder and it should not be glamorized or encouraged. I just am angry because most people with eating disorders arent shallow and dont do it to be as thin as models. It is brought on by psychological problems and an eating disorder is a form of a coping skill. I am upset to read that people believe that anorexics do it just to get thin and that its because this society is all about being thin. That\'s not at all what it\'s about and it really doesnt have anything to do with the food itself. Feelings of pain and sadness are expressed through the struggle with food. Please do not think that people who struggle with anorexia nervosa are shallow and just want to lose a few pounds
