Clive Owen lacks the sophistication to be James Bond. He has too much of a hard edge. He was well suited to BMWfilms as The Driver. Unfortunately, he did not fare as well as King Arthur. This single fact, his failure to portray a classic character, is proof enough he could not fill the shoes of the classic 007 figure. He has to have the ability of saying his lines without sounding like he's reading it from a script book, as he did in King Arthur. So who should be the next James Bond?
