I am a proud to be the first signature on this important initiative to implement P.L. 106-554 - the Women's Procurement Program. The 10 million women-owned businesses comprise 30% of the total businesses in the U.S. and receive less than 5% of all federal procurement dollars. Implement this legislation now to make a real difference for women in business.
