I do NOT support this petition. What would become of these dogs if they didn't have a job. The dogs LOVE to pull the sleds. It's what they are bred to do.

Perhaps there is a better, more fair way to go about this problem. Rather than ban an entire breed, why not have requirements for owning the breed. For instance, if you own a pit bull, you must provide documentation that he has had obedience training and is not harmful. Or pit bulls could be required to wear muzzles when they are in public. But to ban someone for having that breed in their own home? That isn't fair to the animal or the people who love this breed? There are many other options. I also think that if you see a pitbull, you should LEAVE IT ALONE unless it's owner is there and has okayed that you interact with it. Are you going to push for banning every potentially dangerous thing to be banned?

There is no way that cats or dogs are going to go extinct. People who say that are completely in denial of HOW MANY cats and dogs there are. There are MILLIONS of them. No matter what happens, there will always be someone who doesn't spay or neuter their pets. There is NO DANGER of extinction.

I would bet that most of you signing this petition are still going to wear make up. I do agree that animals should not be tested on, that developers should pay people to be tested on.

Not to mention the amount of animals that die on the streets as strays. I feel I must clarify that not all breeders can be categorized as puppy mill operators. My father raises beagles to show and win prizes. His kennel produces maybe one litter per year, and he only sells to other breeders.

I will support this petition, but it should also be included that the puppies at the pet stores COME from puppy mills. Please encourage the viewers to skip the pet store and go to their local Humane Society.

I think that people should have to have some sort of authorization to have unspayed and unneutered pets. Because there are breeders out there and people who show animals and are not careless with their pets.
