Free pay-to-play membership spoils the whole purpose of membership. If we are assigned free membership, then technically, there won't be any RuneScape to play. You see, membership pays for hosting fees, their domain name, their bandwidth and more. So by signing this petition and saying 'I want free membership', you are pretty much destroying RuneScape. Every month, your $8.00 has made RuneScape what it has come to be.
