not only does he have no intentions of releasing the original star wars trilogy on dvd (the "special" edition--ha! i don't see what's so "special" about it!--comes out september 21st), but he's going in and (i'm not making this up) digitally altering the faces of some of the actors so they "jive" more with the actors used in the new movies. please boycott this release!

Bar none, this is the best show on TV right now. It reminds me a lot of (by its similar high acclaim and marginal ratings) NewsRadio, which has gathered quite the cult following in syndication. Even if AD never becomes as big as Seinfeld, isn't it worth keeping on such a high quality show that many (including myself) have become so attached to so early on? Doesn't American Idol make enough money to make up for a few other shows that don't do as well? A lot of people are mentioning other shows that have been cancelled such as Andy Richter, Undeclared, Futurama (which had a pretty good run before it got cancelled), Firefly, Titus, or Family Guy, and as good as some of those shows may have been, let's just be honest here: Arrested Development is far better than all of them. It's the most clever and consistently hilarious show to come around in years. Please don't take it away. You can keep throwing new series against the wall to see if they'll stick, but you wo...

How fitting that all the emo kids are whining about being picked on--when they VOLUNTARILY entered a post called "no more emo." The truth is that no genre is inherently good or bad. It's just that "emo" bands as of late have gotten lazy (or maybe just popular) and are content to whine without any substance behind it. I remember five years ago when emo was being used to describe some of the most innovative bands of the time (Dismemberment Plan, Les Savy Fav, Trail of Dead). And even today you have a few such cases--The Wrens' The Meadowlands came out last year--it was certainly an emo album, but it was sincere. But as long as Chris Carraba and company keep trying to rip off Pinkerton instead of trying to say something original and interesting, a great many people are going to continue shouting from the rooftops that EMO SUCKS!

Dear idiot ("your dad"), if you could read, you would realize that I love Star Wars, or as you call it, STARWARS, which is why I'm appalled that I will never be able to own it on DVD without all the Ewoks on Return of the Jedi joining hands at the end and singing "We Are the World" like so much Fraggle rock. I realize this is falling on deaf ears, as you clearly lack the ability to distill an argument or a theme from a structured juxtaposition of words, but mostly I'm just disappointed that you would resort to such language on a post about a PG-rated film series. Might I advise you watch a little less of the Real World.

This is THE GREATEST show of all time. Yes, it's actually better than Seinfeld and Simpsons combined. Getting rid of AD is worse than getting rid of Andy Richter or Undeclared. Arrested Development is a NATIONAL TREASURE.
