Ban Abortion!
Taking a small life is still Murder. Even those who are raped can give their child up for adoption. That's why the adoption system was created in the first place.
F**K BUSH.
And it's not just this either. Talk to the guy who runs www.myspace.com/petesupai He could tell you all sorts of stuff about Bush being a serious pain in the rear end. This means anything from American Concentration Camps to Bush trying to read people's mail WITHOUT a warrant. This all after the Wire-Tapping incident. Thank God he can't be reelected for a third term. No, next he'll be trying to change that too...
Creation in School
Okay, I'm sorry, I should have been clearer el_the verde. My point is that the school teaches evolution as if it's the ONLY truth. I'm not saying to teach only certain beliefs, just that Creationism is a possibility. Perhaps a theology class would be more appropriate?
Stop the Special Ed Cuts, CPS!
I don't live in Chicago, but I agree with Mr. Ocampo's statements. My sister is a Special Education student, so I know what kind of care is needed to help them. Budget cuts are not the way to help these kids.
Bring PRAYER back to schools
I still don't understand why prayer was ever taken out. As far as I know, no one said you had to pray, but you had the freedom to do so. Another point is that if they were trying to reduce religion in school, they're doing a bad job of it. The words, "Under God" are spoken at least once per day and we get off for holidays like Easter and Christmas. To make this clear, I'm supporting prayer in schools, but I am also pointing out that there was never a good reason for forbidding it from school.
Save the Law and Orders
NBC's got to be crazy if they think they won't lose a lot of money by cancelling ANY, let alone ALL, of the Law and Orders. Not just money, either, fans too. I would bet a year's worth of school grades that they'd lose at least a quarter to a third of their fanbase by getting rid of the Law and Orders. Obviously, the network's mildly suicidal to even consider it.
