Im not sure why you guys have this point of view of firefighters. i myself am one, i dont drink, do drugs, have any STDs and i am a volunteer. I risk it all 24/7 365. im sorry you feel this way, but u might respect us when we pull you out of your burning house or car, heaven forbid. its not easy work, and i have a 2 year college degree for it, so dont think we are dumb, there is even an engineering degree. i hope you come to realize that we are here to help.
