i saw the first episode of the first series, and have not watched it since. to put it bluntly, why listen to people who can't sing and make a really good song sound hideous when you could just by the cd of the origional singer? the show's always so perdictable. personally, i don't like reality tv shows in general. american idol probably won't be around much longer. no one in my family watches it. it's all pointless. we have people in soundsations at my school that if they had contacts to record companies, they could easily get a cd out that would be really popular. i asked my friend about it, and she said after seeing american idol and the big issue over it, she doesn't really care. she just loves to sing for the hell of it. and how come the bad singers always end up getting into american idol? other countries must think we suck because of it.
