I am quite surprised that a University would descriminate against two students on the basis of their age. When two people express an interest in attending a University at such a young age they should be encouraged not made to feel inadequate or rejected. What have these two young men learned from this? From this web site, I would say that they have learned that by speaking out and letting their voices be heard, they will get the support they need in life and will not let a huge organization silence them or hold them back. Good for them and for the course of which they attended.

I recall how the whole country was up in arms over the youth who pee'd on the war memorial and rightly so. Why is it then that when a homeless youth dies, the City of Ottawa cleaning crew or the Ottawa Police can go in and remove a memorial without even blinking an eye, stealing the personal possessions and a petitition with over 1,000 signatures on it.

It is unfortunate that the officials of the University have made this go this far. Why not just step back, and follow the rules of procedure without being influenced by personal bias.
