<title>Carol Kaye should be inducted into the Rock &amp;amp; ...</title>
		<link>http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/Carolkaye/</link>
<description>This petition is to nominate the legendary Ms. Carol Kaye, studio musician and rock and roll pioneer, for membership into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame into the &amp;quot;Sideman&amp;quot; catagory.

Carol&#039;s contribution to recorded rock and roll music is prolific. I feel secure in saying that her recordings have influenced all within the music community including every bass player in the world. Her vast discography demonstrates a broad and extensive record of accomplishments. Carol helped pioneer rock and roll music during the 1950&#039;s and 60&#039;s and recorded for most of the major performing artists of the day, having recorded over 10,000 sessions as a guitarist and bassist. She created a certain distinctive bass sound and style which became the signature of so many hit records. To many, the name Carol Kaye is synonymous with the electric bass.
