America had vast and multiple interests in Iran during monarch rule in this country. Such American interests were not accept able for anti monarch religious leaders and there followers. So that because of importance of this factor we may claim that Political base of Iranian religious revolution (1979) has been anti Americanism. During anti monarch movement, slogan of “Down with USA” was equally chanted by revolutionaries. Importance of anti Americanism in Iran was extensively increased after Islamic revolution in Iran; because after revolution “monarch factor” was no more effective against revolution but “American factor” was still considered as an extreme threat for Islamic revolution. So that Imam Khomeini supreme leader of Islamic revolution declared America as a “great Satan” and greatest enemy of Muslims of the world. On the other hand American leaders after there defeat in Impediment of Islamic revolution boosted up there aid to Israel and they also tried to put obstacles and hindrance in the ways of revolution to save there interests in the region and other parts of the world. In this way Iranians are still chanting slogan of "DOWN WITH USA" because base of this slogan is still present; that base is American antagonistic behavior towards Iran and Iranians.
