Dana White is a disloyal business man who treats the fighters that sweat blood and guts for him with disrespect and shows no loyalty to any fighter, yet demands loyalty from them. Recently, Dana White and Ultimate Fighting Championship released top middleweight John Fitch due to his disagreement on the signing of a lifetime video game rights contract. Fighters such as John Fitch, Cain Velasquez, Josh, Koscheck, and Christian Wellisch are all in an ultimatum position according to John Fitch as the UFC has stated that unless they sign a lifetime deal that the UFC has proposed with THQ regarding video game likeness, they will be released. Dana White has constantly treated fighters poorly and has constantly taken his own agenda as a first priority above the fighters who make the UFC the giant MMA leader it is today. Randy Couture is another athlete who has publicly stated that the UFC is a dishonest and disloyal organization that does not treat fighters appropriately. The long list of fighters disgruntled with the UFC incldes: Randy Couture, Andrei Arlovski, Tito Ortiz, John Fitch, Josh Koscheck, etc. For years, UFC fans have turned a blind eye to the dishonest and ruthless actions of Dana White. Fans continue to see their favorite fighters treated as numbers rather than treated and thanked as the vital pieces that allow the UFC to exist. Dana White's actions are poisoning the UFC fan base and many of the fans that will never order another UFC Pay Per View until Dana White's position is filled with another, more capable human being who will treat all fighters with respect and will treat and recognize all fighters as the most important thing in the UFC ahead of their own financial gain. Fighters salaries need to be restructured as many of the fighters who compete are in a bracket below the average sports industry income for top tier competition. The UFC is one of the highest profiting companies in the sports industry so why is it their fighters make such small amounts per fight compared to boxing, etc. while Dana White continues to make more money than most fighters and uses them for his own gain? As concerned fans we stand up and ask for the firing of Dana White as with his actions the UFC will continue to lose fans and will become a weaker organization as fighters will continue to leave due to his brash, unfair, bullying, and dishonest actions.
