Return Fiierfly to television!

The television show firefly was on Fox for some time, and many highly enjoyed the show, however it was canceled. This petition will be sent to any television networks that I can find an e-mail address for (please give me any e-mail addresses you might have). Firefly was truly a great show, and should be brought back.

because Firefly was nver given a chance. Despite the fact that is was shown out of order, barely advertised and cancelled within a few weeks it still has a large and dedicated fanbase.

I support any petition for firefly to be returned. I'm not a sci-fi fan but this show proves to be more than spaceships.

i'll do anything to bring it back!

In FireFly’s first run on TV; the series was played out of order and aired in a time when many IT people (The Sci Fi masses) were looking for work due to the economic downturn, Jobs being sent over seas etc. (FireFly -A tale of bad timing) Now these potential viewers will have the time to see the show and enjoy it. I am Sci Fi fan; I enjoy Star Wars and Star Trek. The Star Wars Saga has ended and Star Trek is in reruns. There is a great market for FireFly. Joss Whedon has written a universe that is so well made that anything can be possible. The show has so much flexibility and room for expansion. It has inspired some to write, It is gave me the idea to create a MMO about this series because so much is possible in Mr. Whedon’s created universe. It would be sad to see such a great idea with so much room for growth and merchandising sees its end in one season. When Star Wars was launched it almost met the same fate but Mr. Lucas did everything he needed to do to make it happen even if it meant creating a number of businesses that are still running today to launch his dream. I think FireFly has the potential to reach or exceed that level of greatness. Those who know me would be shocked by this post because I am usually a silent fan. One who just watches a movie or a show and takes what I want from the experience. I am posting here because I feel like I have to do something to help bring this series back. Thanks for the chance to allow me to post my thoughts.

I support this petition. They should bring it back for 2 reasons. 1) revenue for them. High dvd sales, great sales at the box office for the movie. 2)All the fans get to see their favorite characters doing what they do best.

We just saw the complete FireFly series box set. We are hooked. This is some of the best writing and acting for TV that we have ever seen. Even better than Six feet Under because of the the comic relief. We think that there is a profit to be made from this series. Please air it again.

Problem was the network it was on-they cant afford to advertise good shows. ENTERPRISE is another good example. Both on a big network would be hits. They should atleast show the unaired episodes.
