Please Help My Mom... Don't let them take her http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/HelpMyMom/ I was born in Fort Worth Texas.  I lived there with my mother and younger sister until 1997.  My sister’s father was verbally, emotionally and physically aggressive toward all 3 of us for several years.  My mother in fearing for her life and ours, left her family, profession, home and lifestyle behind to move to a country where we knew no one.  Costa Rica.   We have lived in Costa Rica for the past 11 years.  Mom got married.  I now have 2 more sisters and 2 stepsisters.  The United States is attempting to extradite my mother on international parental kidnapping charges.  My mother has been incarcerated for almost 11 months here in Costa Rica fighting the extradition charges.   My family is my Mother, Chere Tomayko (46), my stepfather, Javier Montero (51), myself, Chandler Tomayko (21), my sisters Alexandria Tomayko (19), Mariela Montero (16), Carolina Montero (14), Sophia Montero (8) and Arianna Montero (5).   It is unjust for them to persecute a woman for protecting her children, is that not what we expect mothers to do?  My mother is being persecuted and my family is being torn apart.  I am asking anyone with a sense of family and love to join our cause and help me in petitioning against the extradition of my mother and allowing her to come home.   If you would like more information please contact me. I see no reason for the support when your mom is being held because she committed a crime. Kidnapping a child is no means to protect that child. If my child and I were homeless and hungry would it be okay for me to rob a bank or steal food? There are many resources in the US specifically designed to help women and children; could she not utilize at least ONE? She took it upon herself to be the trial judge, jury, and executioner. Now when the real law steps in, she must deal with the consequences. We cannot have vigilantes running around, which is what she decided to become IF her claims of abuse were true. Why didn't she just leave the area then go from there? Did she HAVE to leave the country? That's a bit farfetched and a sign of being vindictive and manipulatory, as opposed to a scared victim. She MUST'VE had financial resources in order to leave the country with herself and two children (passports, airfare, funds to survive while trying to get resettled, etc, cost a lot). If she had enough to leave the country, she surely and enough to move across country while waiting for the law to do its job (as far as investigating her claims of abuse which I'm SURE she filed, right?). I am the person who encouraged Mr. Cyprian to seek the help of the FBI for parent abductions. I know that he has always loved this child and would have done anything in the world to keep her safe. I know the pain he has suffered as a result of her being taken from him. I believe that the child's mother did all of the harm in taking the child and lying about her father until the child truly believes what she has been told! She took the child from her family and I have had to deal with my child, Brenda Cyprian's, pain and loss for all of these years. Her sister's birthday is coming up this coming weekend and as usual she will be sadden because she cannot see, speak to, or touch her sister. This is cruel and unusual punishment for something that neither she nor her father did. Please send her home! She is a citizen of the United States who had her birthright stolen from her.
