We, the undersigned, urge the UN to seek compensatory damages, to be paid by nations participating in the invasion of Iraq, for the people of Iraq to include, but not be limited to; 1) Full compensation for all persons injured as a direct or indirect result of the invasion. 2) All persons suffering property damage as a direct or indirect, result of the invasion. 3) All persons suffering a loss of wages or other hardship as a, direct or indirect, result of the invasion. 4) The families or next of kin of all fatalities that were a, direct or indirect, result of the invasion. 5) The government of Iraq, including local and regional governments for damage done to public property and antiquities and 6) Punitive damages to help the people of Iraq recover in the post war period. If international law is to have any validity then it must seek to punish violators and compensate victims when that law is violated.
