It is time for inconsiderate smokers to understand that non-smokers have rights too. It is time for inconsiderate smokers to realize that children deserve to grow up with healthy lungs that are smoke free. Any public area where it is realistic that children and/or pregnant women are present should be smoke free environments. We are not against smoking or against smokers. We are primarily interested in the health and wellbeing of our children as well as ours. Please pass this law and work with concerned citizens to help shape how it is implemented, enforced, and adjudicated.
