To Encourage MGM to release movies on HD DVD Hi De...

We the undersigned would ask that MGM support the HD DVD disc format by releasing titles to this format as soon as possible.

HD DVD has had a successful launch to market and offers the best picture and sound available, with the best video and audio encoding.

While we recognize that you had previously chosen to release on the Bluray format, we feel that it would make sense for you to support both formats, as there are many owners that exist for HD DVD now, and there are apparently still technical challenges which Bluray will need to overcome before it can offer what HD DVD does today.

Compared to what was expected of the two formats last year, we feel that HD DVD has come closer to delivering what we want, and would prefer to choose from your releases on this format.

Please hear our call to support this fantastic format. From most reports, it is less expensive to release on HD DVD, and there is a substantial market awaiting your releases on HD DVD.

We would be tremendously excited to hear some positive news from you in this regard.

HD DVD has a the most compatibility ratio for interactivy fonction example picture in picture, web acces, blu-ray player are not exept for ps3 and again 50% of buyers will use their consol a game center not for movie, left home player and only those of 3rd generation and up will be meaning only 25% of blu-ray user will be able to acces those, HD DVD player are the best option as the standard for everything was availaible from day one and that's the main reason that made Paramount to go HD DVD.
