Put better teachers in the schools

There are too many teachers that do not know what they are talking about, I know this because I have been a student and now I am a teacher, and I have witnessed these people in action. Some like to ramble on and on about nothing because they like the sound of their own voice. Others give too much work and then complain about marking it, and there is this one that does not even interac with her class, she just puts up overheads. It is time we put some more intelligent people in the classrooms for your children.

I am a teacher and I agree, but it is hard to keep the good teachers around with all of the demand put on them with little funding and being required to teach directly for the test scores. A little more support and accountability would be great in shools.

Get the children taught by those who can and will teach, and know what they are talking about. Lots of HS grads can't read or make change. Why weren't they taught? Tenure often is job protection for the tenacious incompetants.
