If you cancel a move at the right time, your opponent keeps getting hit by it even if you're not doing anything. You can proceed to do more damage before they've gotten out of your "throw". Bugs like that hurt sales. They might have made more money if they gave everyone the buggy game. If you want to play a fixed version you have to find one of the few arcades that they're allowing to buy the machines.
