I have a great grandson who was taken from his mother and father's arm at the hospital. My daughter the child's grandmother has gone through over 3 mths of intensive interviews to get her grandson under her care to have him be with family who love him and care for him.She was told today at a meeting with CAS that she couldn't have her grandson that they will be putting him up for adoption.There reasoning for this is very pathetic. The real sad part is one of the workers that was interviewing my daughter got a call one day at my daughter's place on her cell phone and the workers husband was using F this and F that language about their son over the phone and he was so loud my daughter heard the whole conversation and then the workers husband hung up on her.The worker cut the interview short and stated it was late and they would schedule one more.Then the worker didn't even note the proper things that was said to her and my daughter corrected that part in this final meet and info the supervisor and main social worker in the case what she had heard. This message tells me that it is ok for a worker to be have her son with a verbally if not physical abusive father but my grandchild isn't able to go with family who love him and would cherise him.What kind of system is this anyway.Who is looking out for the abuse going on in that social workers home.It is time a Goverment Official. Advocate or someone be put in Charge of CAS as a lot of people are feeling that Childrens Aid Society is above the law and it doesnt matter what the courts decide. So CAS continues to rip kids from loving parents and grandparents arms and puts them into the arms of strangers, puts them up for adoption when there is family members to love and care for them.Plus pay someone to do it.What about Children who have gone into care and were harmed or killed .Were does this all end. I have even witness a foster woman cursing and swearing at boys she had ranging from 8 up to teens is that not classed as verbal abuse.When I heard this I thought so we take children out of so called abusive homes and put them into foster care to be abused and the foster parent gets paid for doing this. Too many foster parents are in foster care right now and it is only for the money not the concerns of an abused child. The hole system needs a house cleaning .Please give familys a chance to take care of their own and love them they way only a family can do. Instead of trying to keep families intact and helping with issues, they would rather harrass than guide..This is such a sorry system, especially when you see some of the filthy crackhead parents in Brantford walking down the street stoned out their head pushing a stroller and cursing at their other children..
