Keep Rocket Fuel Out of Our Water http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/Pollunatfreewater/ Polluters have leaked the highly toxic pollutant Perchlorate, the top chemical in rocket fuel, into our waters. We wish to bring to your attention the fact that standards for Perchlorate are not up to date with what the latest research, indicating that current amounts of exposure to perchlorate are not safe. Clean, safe drinking water is very important to our families. Please ensure that the state sets a final standard for perchlorate of at least one part per billion that requires polluters to clean up their contamination. This protects the health of all Californians, including pregnant women and infants.
