As a result of this developement, the transgender prostitutes (that formerly slithered along the Westside Highway) have made Horatio Street, Little Hudson and West 13th their new stomping grounds. Corporal Serevelli park (Which borders these streets and acts as a playground for Young Adult Institute for Retarded Citizens) is now infested with Transgender prostitutes that ply their trade openly from 9:00pm-7:00am. Despite, several phone calls per day to the Sixth Precinct, NOTHING, is done. If the cruisers even respond to the call, they drive right by. They do not stop, they do not attempt to move them along, they certainly do not arrest them, hell they dont even turn their heads. They drive BY!!!! Captain Fitzgerald and Sergeant Griffin have not made the efforts that are required to rid our neighborhood of this infestation. Aside from the health hazards, ie.....defecating in the streets between cars, dirty condoms strewn about the playground, needles....our security is now being threatened by the element that these prostitutes draw in. Robbery's in our neighborhood have sky rocketed. We are forced to replace our broken locks bi monthly and chase hookers and their Johns out of our vestibules and garden. Quality of Life STINKS in the sixth precinct and civilian complaints are being ignored flagrantly by those who could implement change. We want our neighborhood back and we will fight to get it. There is a community board meeting on Monday, August 9 at 7:30pm at the New School. This meeting will be attended by Mayor Bloomberg and Commissioner Ray Kelly.
