		<title>Tiger Hunting</title>
		<link>http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/ProtectTigers/</link>
<description>Tigers are a protected species all over the world.

Even though it&amp;#39;s completely illegal to hunt them, people are still slaying these beautiful creatures. Especaily in Aisa and Africa. Sadly, it is possible that tigers could be gone by 2010. Tiger researchers estimate that there are fewer than 2,500 tigers in the world. But there is a lot of work being done to make sure that tigers will survive. In the early 1970s, India began passing laws against killing tigers. Since then, other countries with wild tigers have passed similar laws. Many countries around the world, including the United States, have passed laws to stop the sale of products made from tiger parts. International projects exist that help protect wild tiger habitat. Zoos help tigers through breeding programs and by teaching people around the world about these cats. You can help tigers by not buying products that are made from tiger fur or bodyparts, recycling paper and finding other alternatives to paper to help save the forests where tigers live, and by supporting reserves and conservation projects that protect tigers. soon enough the world will be a tiger free place.Of the original eight species of tigers, only five remain in this world.
Three species have become totally extinct. The five remaining species are
highly endangered. These magnificent animals are still being poached and
killed off in the &amp;quot;protected areas&amp;quot; that have been created in countries such as
India, Thailand and Indonesia. Can you imagine the day when your children
or grandchildren will only know what a tiger is by photographs? please go to http://home.neopets.com/templates/homepage.phtml?pet_name=peri734666 for more information
