We need lights that show the near edge of the road while canted left, and the far when canted right, and all the variables in between. Headlights have become more powerfull but there is a problem on a motorcycle when it goes around corner at the night. in a straight line the beam of light is horizontal and benificial, but on entering a curve the motorcycles light is project but the beam of light is greatly reduce as the beam is shining in a vertical plane, prevent the beam from project forward to aid in riding. You cannot see 15 feet in front of you with the bike leaned over, it is dangerous and it is not good enough! Can you imagine car drivers not being able to safely drive around corners at night because their headlights were so poor? Why should motorcyclists put up with it? It is time the manufacturers actually provided a lighting system that works properly at night so motorcyclists can ride around corners in relative safety.
