		<title>Reopen Ventura Breakwall to EVERYONE!</title>
		<link>http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/ReopenVenturaBreakwall/</link>
<description>During the last week of September 2007, Ventura Harbormaster Scott Miller and Port District official Oscar Pena decided that they would completely shut down Ventura Breakwater and surrounding areas out to 750 feet to Hoop Netter&#039;s targeting Lobster.

They made this decision with no public comment, no data or research and less than 72 hours before the start of the season. This however was not a total closure, but one that targeted a specific group(hoop netters.) Diving for lobster at the breakwall and other activities are still allowed.

We feel that this decision should be overturned immediately, and a more fitting solution worked out with the publics input.

Please join us by signing this petition so that we may present it to Mr Miller and the Commission.</description>
