It is not a personal attack against persians everywhere. the "good guys" in the movie were the spartans and the "bad guys" were the persians, one way to make that support that idea in any movie to show who is the good guys and who are the bad guys is by the look of the characters. making the persian army hairy and ugly or whatever is just for the effect of the movie it is not saying that all persians are ugly. some of them are, some of every group of people are ugly. maybe back then they only chose the ugly people to be in the army while the beautiful people stayed in persia and reproduced to weed out all of the ugly people. and considering how much you are all bitching about how the makers of the movie are discriminating against you because you are persian, you all seem to be picking on the Jews an awful lot.
