For those who have them know how gentel , caring ,loving and playful this dogs are. I'm sorry for those who have been attack by pit bulls , but that doesn't make them all mean, or mean that their all going to attack a person. I bought my 8 year old daughter a female pit bull for her birthday. This dog sleeps ,eat, plays, with her , she even whines when she is locked out of the restroom when my child is taking a shower or brushing her teeth. For someone to say that a pit bull is argressive that they can be.If your pit bull is raised right , it taught is treated with respect , care , trust and love you have nothing to worry about. It is these people who raise their pit bulls to be mean , to attack , who raise them for pit bull fights. It should be the owner whos is held responisable for their dogs ation , because they raised them to be mean. PLEASE SUPPORT PIT BULLS AND HELP SAVE THEM . It could mean your breed of dog is next. The American Pit Bull Terrier is an amazing dog, I have definitely come across many during my time working as a veterinary technician and volunteering at my local humane society. People really need to stop being ignorant.. even PETA is against pitbulls which makes no sense. I adopted my pitbull and came to find out later that he was abused by his previous owner. It took some time for him to gain self esteem but he is the most gentle creature to walk on this planet. Unfortunately, due to bylaw statements, pitbulls are banned where I live so I had to give him away.
