Save the Starbucks on San Pablo and 43rd Street http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/SaveStarbucks/ After only several months our, Emeryville Starbucks on 43rd Street is closing. This particular location's volume was down, but has it been given a fair chance to thrive? I don't believe all the facts have been considered; like the new condos being built on 40th and San Pablo which could boost sales to the store in the near future.Like Starbucks or not, improving San Pablo Avenue depends on changing it from an auto dominated highway, to a more pedestrian friendly avenue. Our objectives are more likely to take hold when all the adjacent retail spaces are occupied with quality businesses.If you care, I’m asking you to sign this petition. As a resident of the Emeryville Triangle neighborhood, Starbucks is a wonderful addition to our local community. It's extremely unfair to close this location after only a few months.
