http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/SchapelleCorby/ Schapelle Corby has been detained in a Balinese prison and now awaits sentencing from a panel of judges on drug trafficking charges. We the undersigned are of the firm belief that the evidence against her is only circumstantial and therefore there must neccessarily be some doubt as to her guilt. If this is so, she must be given the benefit of this doubt. We understand that under the indonesian legal system the onus of proof is on the accused, but if this means that an innocent person could be jailed while the true perpetrator goes free, then we believe that there should be some flexibility in this regard. We believe in her innocence based not only on the circumstances, but also, having seen her in court, from a real sense that we are looking at an innocent person. We sincerely urge you to do whatever is properly within your power to save this woman as her health, physically and mentally, is in great danger.
